Avo Adjustable Coilovers, Pace Rad & Intercooler, Wastegate, Blue Injectors, 15' Smiths Alloys, Mongoose 4in Stainless Exhaust, Full Engine Rebuild 15K ago (No receipts to prove) (Showing 27k)
Reason for Sale have just spent close to GBP 650.00 on it, still not running right.
Problem being when you push hard on the accelerator it misfires and judders, but if you press softly can gain acceleration no probs.
Could be something simple, if anyone knows what the problem could be please let me know as dont really want to sell , but cannot afford to plow any more money at it (Nagging Girlfriend)

Bodywork in very good condition apart from very slight rust around windscreen wiper, and tiny patch on bottom of Boot lid.

Dont know if anyone is interested, but am reducing price, looking for £2250.00 for this now, as it is losing water (Think it is the water pump) still drives fine etc, but is dripiing water from somewhere when parked.

Have spent in excess of £ 750.00 over the last few months, have now just run out of money for it.

Sorry for late reply, Sussed what the problem was Water pump is on its way out.
Have a new one & new cambelt, which will be on this weekend.

If anyones interested am still looking to sell £2250.00, any PX also considered.

Would also PX & Cash for BMW Compact with Low miles if anyone has one ??? (You never Know)

Ok, Have just had the water pump, cambelt, spark plugs and Valve stem sills replaced. Car now runs spot on and is very fast.

Will leave this post on for another week if no interest will keep the car.

Bodywork is in very good condition, there is no rust at all on the car (except boot lid) around petrol cap is immaculate with not even a trace of bubbling etc.

Was Looking for around £2.5, but knocked it down to £2250.00 for quick sale.

Car has had so much spent on it since i have had it, got me into too much trouble now with the other half so pressure is on to sell it.

Will have a new Genuine RS Boot lid on this weekend, doesnt really need one, but there is slight rusting around Windscreen wiper.

Do you have any proof of the rebuild at all, if you even knew the place it was carried out you could poss get the details?
Do you know why the car is smoking, and what is causing it to judder on acceleration?

Unfortuantly i dont have any proof of the rebuild, all i have is the receipts for Servicing and work carried out up to 2002 and my receipts for what i have spent on the car.

Everything does fill very tight etc on the car, gear change is good and is very responsive, also has lots of expensive parts i:e Pace rad and intercooler, Avo Adjustable Height and Ride suspension, K&N and Pipercross Filters

I had the car looked at when i had the Water pump done , the guy said the Juddering problem is Boost not set up properly, Whether this is true or not i dont know.

As for the smoking , this stopped when i had the valve stem sills done, but has started up again recently, it is only slight and only happens when iti si cold weather ?.

I could get the bits done but really do not have the time or money, need to sell as move into my house within the next month.

Will sell for 2K , the car owes me 3K, or will part ex for Smaller engined car and Cash.

S2 Turbo have not received your E-Mail, can you please re-send.

Have been told the juddering is due to too much boost , hitting the limiter.

Have got an adjustable in car boost control which should cure this problem (At Last) just need to fit which should be soon.

If this works car should be running spot on, only a slight bit of smoke on start up, which will also be looked at professionally within the next few weeks.

Car will then be up for sale again , with no problems

it should be going for its mot this week and it all pretty much revolves round that.

its still got 4 mnths tax

16inch mondeo wheels with really good tyres ( which i want to keep if i get another rs)

how much u willing to offer i saw one with a blown head gasket go for a grand it had 112k on the clock too mines got 72 with loads of history till bout 68k
