230bhp+ FRST with pics *SOLD*
Advertising on behalf of a mate.
This is one of the nicest fiestas I think I’ve ever seen, and I still can’t believe he wants to sell it!
He has had the for about 8 months, and in that time the car has done, wait for it…………half a mile. It was brought as a project car and has since been subject to some serious spending! It has been treated to a full leather retrim (which has only had the driver seat sat in once!), new wheels, brakes, engine rebuild, paintwork, the list goes on. He has only recently (as in last week) got it finished and now wants to sell it.
The car has been completely stripped to a bear shell, any rust or sign of rust removed, and every little crevis, covered in waxoil. The car is as if it has just rolled out of the show room.
The engine will need running in for about a 1000 miles, but when tuned, should be putting out around 230bhp.
I personally want him to keep it, but it’s his choice. He wants the car to go to a good home, one that will enjoy all the hard work and long man-hours that have been put in by several of us over the past 8 months.
He has also had several offers from mags for features once finished, so I'm confident that the new owner won't have trouble getting it known.
Here is the Spec:
1990 Fiesta RS Turbo
Engine:
1600 cvh, Bored out 1mm, with oversized Accralite pistons, T285 cam, stage 2 T3 turbo, bailey swirl pot, uprated big ends and mains (heavy duty), GRS oversized intercooler, brand new standard rad with 10” Kenlowe fan, full scorpion exhaust system with 4” tailpipe
Transmission:
Reconditioned FRST gear box, new clutch, skimmed flywheel
Brakes:
300mm Focus ST170 disc and calliper conversion
Wheels:
16” Le Mans multi spoke alloys with Ford Centre caps
Exterior:
Modified front bumper for extra air intake, Laguna front splitter, MK4 roof aerial, smoothed bonnet, fully painted in volvo saffire black
Interior:
Full leather re-trim in vanilla cream leather including doorcards, 6” TV screen in re-designed dash, 2x5” TV’s from Ford Galaxy in head rests, DVD player in the glove box, stealth shelf, steering wheel, gauges mounted in custom pods, heated front screen
Pics:
The car does not have any tax, as it has been off the road for 2 years.
The car will now come with 1 years MOT
As for price, he’s looking for £6000, Which it’s worth all day long.
Anyone interested, PM me or Call Mark on 07974 708327
Cheers
Lee

Bloody hell, I can't believe he'd sell something after everyone's put it so much work, and so much money's gone into it. Some people!! I was concerned by the post title, but glad it's not your car going Lee
P.S. I think you mean Accralite pistons, small typo there

the only reason he wants to sell it, is that he's just brought himself a jetski and now realsied that he can't afford to run it.

oh my god i cant believe that someone would want to sell a car like that, it has to be one of the nicest, tastefully moddified fiestas i've ever seen.
i would never sell that if it was my car, and the buyer is getting a bargin think of what the interior would have cost
good luck to him selling and the new owner
what a show stopper of a car that could be
matt

Right, been a long time since i've refreshed this, so i thought i'd put a few 'more recent' pics up, as the car is now on the road:
The car is STILL for sale, and again anyone who is SERIOUSLY interested please contact Mark on 07974 708327.
The car will also be at the next Passion Ford meet at southend on Wednesday 01/09/04 (weather permitting) for people who want to have a closer look.
Cheers

Funnily enough, it was brought by the guy who Gadget got his Escos off. He recently had it set up and put on the rollers, and it made 246bhp and 260lbs torque!!
Awsome!
