I believe the surface there dry's quicker than normal. Special compound or something.
Still can't believe it!
Sunny and Ian H are both there. Also present is Jamie from Jamsport, Keith S22.1ZVH and a few others.

If not, sweet Jesus! Did he leave the rear half of the chassis on the start line 'cos that acceleration must have been awesome!

No wind up. I'd not joke about something like this.
Plus my wind-ups usually involve Phil Si in dubious circumstances!

If you get in to the physics of propelling a front wheel drive car off the line, 4.2 seconds is highly unlikely, unless you mean 0-60 kph
RWD I'd believe, but hard to do in a front wheel drive car (but not impossible given the right conditions)
If it is true though, big up to the man! He must have had some very wide slicks on it

moulder dont believe the PF times as the strip they use has a bad surface compared to where Paul has run today. Beside Paul already had a CONFIRMED time of 5.12 i believe.

He did a 5.14 at Trax yep. I'm sure he'll be on here when he gets home to tell us all about it! Roll out the red carpet!!! (with a green stripe
)
205 section (I think) Yoko AVS, cut slicks but fully road legal, as used on the Lotus Exige.

I've got 205's on my Fessie too, S compound A038R's. I'll have to wheel her out for a play. I'm sure I can get under 6 seconds with some practice, but below 5 is going to take a phenomenal amount of power, a lot more than I've got.
Its just rained in Leicester, so I guess Brunters is under several inches of water by now
