Yes, very Chum....had to contain it in front of Ahmed and Harvey though!

Had a small glitch unfortunately which meant we couldn't finish the mapping on higher than 23psi  Will all be sorted soon though :D

bhp means nothing...torque's what you want!

It's over 300 lets put it like that :o And trust me, that alone is enough for anyone! If I don't light the tyres up in every gear then something's wrong

Dave thats incredible!

You wont need to rev your engine past 3k with that amount of torque!

And a proper dyno proven output as well!

I was also thinking that :) I hate the jap 'nothing until 8k revs, then a grand and a half of power' engines, i like torque and the ability to pull low down.

This sounds like a cracking engine :)

Beautiful. That will drive very nicely. Power right where you need it, 80 in top and overake anything with ease.

totally agree there mate.

Thats a hell of a lot of torque for such low down revs - if anyone cares that engine at 2990rpm and 310lb/ft of torque is 176bhp BHP!

Gaz mate 1 garnd Id have no power, the Jap crap I have powers from 3500 rpm right the way through to the red line which is at 6500 rpm! And its still running 14psi all the way through on the standard T28!

Thanks Tom¬

tom, i think he was refering to vtecs and the like, obviously if your turbo'd up on a fairly conventional engine then the power will be midrange ish... if you go in a vtec or such then i know from personal experience the power froma vtec below 6k is frightening.

Id much prefer to jump in a car and it have bags and bags of torque and pull from daft revs as opposed to revvin round to teh red line in every gear so it goes somewhere

I know that matey but what I was saying is that all rice bruners dont do this! Yes I have taken my car to the limiter in nearly every gear and it can take it! and yes mine has the torque behind it aswell, just ask Nomad hes driven it and been a passenger! He nearly took it home aswell lol!
