Rwd a cvh?
Peeps can you turn a cvh turbo to a rwd ? I no the sierra was and Granada but they where 1.8 any help would be great thanks

The blocks are completely different and there is not any mounting points on the 1600 block to enable it to be turned

I think it's a case of fabricating the mountings, but if you can't do that without scratching your head, wait till you get to the rear of the car ha ha.
It's been done quite a few times. It's well worth a go. You don't have to follow other peoples methods, just offer it up, and if your anywhere near a logical person you'll have it sorted soon after seeing where it sits.
I'd go down the route of building a frame/cradle for the engine out of tubing solid mounted to the frame and bushed to the chassis legs. But thats just me.

There's plenty of kit cars running CVH on RWD
I know the Sierra Gearbox/Diff setup works on a Zetec block and I'm sure I'm right in thinking that the CVH has the same gearbox as most Zetecs so custom engine mounts and away you go........ oh and the task of making the engine fit in the right position lol
