Old Pirellis
Some of you know that i'm currently spending a year travelling around the world (hence lack of posts).
I've just done 4 months of travelling south from Mexico city. I'm currently in BA, Argentina.
You'll be pleased to know that there are plenty of new and shonky fords that ive never heard of or seen kicking around in central and south America.
Anyway, back on topic. P600's and other old Pirelli's can still be bought new from here (pretty sure with the same tread pattern), seen them in a few shops, so if there are any keen beans, I'm sure you can get them imported fairly easily, just don't ask me to do it
If anyone is intrested to see what i've done so far (blog hasn't been updated in a bit but will do it soon) go here http://blogs.statravel.co.uk/filtra. Will get up a Ford gallery up at some point lol.

Think you'll find the compound is different depending on the clime. It will be a harder compound to cope with the hotter weather and may not be any good for use in our weather.

Can you hear me now? Hear you, I can see you, ya dick

If they are gonna be used for concours cars is doesn't matter on the compound because they never get driven

It would be very interesting to know,
I'm sure one of the big companies would give me a price for shipping a few sets.
