Hi guys,
my name is james and i own a mark rs2000 which i am in the process of getting ready to turbo.
I have been directed to you guys for some help, as people have told me you are the guys to help me.

i have brought a OFAB ECU and engine loom, what i need to know is... there is a milti plug with 10 wires which goes into the car off the engine loom, five browns,one red,one green,coupe of blacks with red strips, and a black.

the problem i have is its been chopped at the plug so need to take them into the car to the correct place, it looks like all the power up connects for ecu.

any ideas guys??????

are you sure its an oab loom mate as im sure the engine loom-car loom plug has only 7 wires

looking at it, it has nine in the loom side of the plug. give me a minute i will get a pic up.

it doesnt look like the fiesta turbo one to me?? hold on i got an xr2i loom under the bed ill get a pick up of the loom connectors as there the same

hold on... do them wires go into 8 pins on the plug??

think thats the injector loom mate is it not??

there should be another plug just like it with 7 pins inside it this is the car loom plug

Pin 1: Ignition Live
Pin 2: Pin 22 (ECU) to the Fuel Pump Relay
Pin 3: Fed From DIS coil pack to the Rev counter
Pin 4: Pin 20 (ECU) Current return
Pin 5: Pins 57 & 37 (ECU) to the Fuel injection Relay
Pin 6: Oil Pressure
Pin 7: B+ (Constant Live)

just had read on a link ive found and i think ive been sold a ofac wiring loom, with a ofab ecu

scroll down my pins on the ecu plug are the same as the ofac one, gutted!!!!!
can i make this into a ofab loom??? do you know what needs to be done?

looks like a xr2i 16v zetec loom to be fair mate im pretty sure thats the wrong one, you should only have 2 rows of 4 pins in the plugs one will have 7 one will have 8 pins in

or is it out the rs2000 itsself??

no its not the same as the rs2000 loom. he told me he pulled this out of his car which had a 2.1 conversion, he gave me the ofab ecu and the cossie map sensor (one with the plug and pipe on the front) and the mounting bracket they both mount on.
im lost.

yeah! so its been made to run and plug into a zetec car loom!???

but the loom hasnt been chopped about, he said he extended the water temp sensor if i remember and that was it??

think he has cut into loom for a zetec plug, so if im right its a ofab loom with the cables put onto a different connector.
because i have 7 cables.

what colour wire do you have going into each pin of the plug, if this could be answered i think i maybe ok

also checked all the ecu pins and they are all the same as the ofab connector apart from i have nothing connected in PIN 30 BROWN CURRENT RETURN???

on my xr2i loom i havew here looking at the plug like 1 2 3 4

yeah mate make that small sub loom on that diagram with the 2 relays and your sorted

edit!.... unles you have the multiplug that has 7 wires on the rs2k car loom?? not sure if its the same
