Hi guys n gals. i may sell my frst cabby if i get the right offer. you may have seen it at fitp 2008. its not finished yet as im building a 2.0 16v zetec turbo engine for it at the mo. i also have to finish off a few other bits on it but here is a rough spec of what it will be running before i sell it. 2.0 16v zetec turbo, megasquirt v2.2, cossie greens, hybrid t28 turbo, pace double capacity or front mount intercooler, uprated fuel pump, scorpion exhaust, will be mapped by pj motorsport so should be 300bhp+,various gauges to keep an eye on whats going on in the bay, polybushes all round inc adjustable wishbones, koni adjustables all round, escos front brakes, escos alloys, toyo proxes, decent amount of i.c.e, a fair bit of (insert ghey rap term) in the engine bay, iv probably missed out a few things but as i said this is just a rough guide. its also due to be featured in fast ford as soon as its finished. il add a pic of it in the next few days for those of you that didnt see it at fitp. ok peeps, send me some offers, but remember this car is unique and for those of you who want to know......there are no changes on the log book, its listed as a frst. if the offers are roughly what im looking for then i will list it on ebay in a couple of months. thanks for your time guys.

give me 20 grand and il give it a fresh respray!!! the car will definately be up for sale after the mag feature. i restore and build custom cars for a living and this is just one of my cars. when they are ready i sell them and not before. i just want a rough idea of what people are willing to pay for it. if i dont thinks its worth it then il keep it as a show car. if you have a serious offer in mind then im listening. if your not interested in buying it......just tell me what you think its worth!!!

i like that mate, deffo different, dunno about the mirrors or the tv screen tho. would also look better with a more modern dash. personaly i couldn't put a price on that. one off tho

thanks mate. btw the screen is for the on board computer and management system. also plays/burns cds/dvds, sat nav, bluetooth, wifi, mobile broadband etc etc. the dash is also covered in dust from when it was in the spray shop. its going to be sprayed when i finish moulding the screen in to the dash but i have cleaned it since the pics with dash shine and its gone back to dark grey

Does the car have a working roof as none of the pictures show one.

I think as others have said you probably need pictures of the finished article showing the standard of finish. It is the second attempt I have seen at a Mk3 convertible. The first was not a fall version like yours though.

just found some pics that tiller took at fitp, when it came past us when we were on the hard shoulder of the motorway it had the roof up so i assume it has a working roof lol. i personally love it!! lol

hi peeps. yes it does have a manual (more like manual labour!!!) working roof, il post some pics of it with the roof up. it keeps the wind and rain out!!! just about its does leak a bit at the tops of the door glass, just dribs n drabs in downpour but i am in the process of building a hard top for it, although customers cars come first. shouldnt be too long though.

Hey i have another idea for your car, what about a zetec-s rear bumer as it has the number plate gap?

ahhhh steely. im keepin this one as close to original as possible. ie original bumpers, skirts etc (rs turbo look). but i am building another one at the mo which will have the zetec s bumpers, lights and bonnet grafted on to it (full zetec s look).

Only things i'm not sure on are the mirrors (as said), badboy bonnet and maybe rear lights but they do look good.

All looks factory though, top work mate

Is this a Hacker Moroc conversion or kit? Tim Dutton designed and built one but put a different nose cone on his version which was not as good as the XR/RS bumper/bonnet. The rights were sold to Novac of Bolney.
