i'll be getting a gti 1.8 115ps engine coming soon matey, will be getting whole car on the 27th, but the engine will be just a bare block, will provide the ecu and the transponder to make it work, you will have to collect from hemel hempstead hertfordshire though!

oh and if anyone else is interest in some parts from this gti i'm getting let me know asap!

I've got a white '92 XR2i 16v, it's got rust in all the usual places (doors, tailgate, filler cap etc). the interiors ok, g-max shocks & springs, recent disks & pads, gearbox on it's way out i think. No exhaust or window regulators & one of the driveshafts has come out. £150 if you're interested & i'll throw in a spare ecu thats been superchipped by power engineering. The car's in Northwood, Middx.

im in manchester ..where bwts r u ?? reali intrested so i cnt do anythin till i c the fotos..any smoke cumin out of it..soz to be a pain but its goin in my pride n joy..do you have any idea of what other gearbox i could use..i got the one on my 1.1 but duno if it will line up???

hello mate, like i say the car's in Northwood, Middlesex (just outside NW London). The engine's sweet as a nut, no smoke, really nippy. It'll probably need charging up again as it's sat for about a month. The gearbox whines in 1st & can be a bit of a Bic™ to get in 3rd or 4th sometimes. As for whether your gearbox'd fit or not i don't have a clue but hopefully someone else on here might be able to help! I'll see what i can do about the pics (my brother lives near it, he might be able to text me some!)

ok..does the car drive ?? as i cud stik my reg n tax disk on it whil i drive it bk to manchester..n [ERRR] wheels are on it..so the exhaust is missin..the drive shaft has cum out..will this go bk in??

I think you'd need a trailer! To be honest i don't know how bad the driveshaft problem is, i sold this car 6 months ago to my brother and it happened to him. He's since bought another car & lost interest in this one.

im not to sure im open to offers i have everything includeing the rad tank exhaust everythink i have done 3 conversions and out of the 3 one car was rotten so i striped it

Hi fella, ive got a MK3 in mallard green sat on my drive way, its got a 105 ps zetec in it from an escort, all wired and plumed in, runs like a treat just had new idle speed control valve, lambda sensor, MAP sensor and MAS air flow sensor, 2 lower arms. the car is completly standard complete with poverty bumpers, and 13" steelies (with matching hubcaps) its a propper sleeper, its got a 3" stainless system from the bottom of the manifold back complete with de-cat, i also have a cat section for MOT. it has the Full 90 spec Recaro RST interior in great condition. i also have an array of spares to go with the car, set of green tint RS1800 rear windows, spare bonnet for vent conversion, 2 red RS1800 front bumpers, 1 Red RS1800 rear bumper, 1 set of spare headlights, silicone inlet chamber for air filter, RS1800 radiator, probably a bit more ive missed ill have a look if you or anyone is genuinly interested. its got light bubbling on the passengerside rear arch, and a couple of other small patches, there are the obvious few dents and dings from uncareful car owners in car parks but nothing major, the filler cap is good so are battery tray, sills, floor pan, rear turrets and spare wheel well. i have owned the car for around 8 months and its been great but my home circumstances have changed and i will need a diesel to make the most of the millage im going to do. i can take some pictures and send them if anyone is interested just sling me an e-mail to pointyhatter@hotmail.com . and the car is just outside oxford, sorry if this is no use to you mate just thought id let you know, Cheers, Lewis
