Postby HCS PIMP on Wed Jul 02, 2008 9:36 pm

hello chums lol

hello dracos ,blade, Jay RS, Rawli, Adrian frs, steven frs, Carl, Ollybean, andy of fiesta guides, tweek and all the other memebers of FT who have helped me over the years with my Fix Or Repair Daily fun Its been worth it all

Anywho Ive finnaly seen sense sold my Saxo VTR mk2 on V reg and returned to the ford fold

the first job i had when returnign was find a suitable car to start with

This came from 40 miles away in the land of Darlington after a few hours on ebay , a phoen call or 2 selling my car to a chive, 8 hours at work and 2 trains i arrived to behold my new baby

The first thing i did was drop my bag and stop rubbing under the rear arches :oooh:

no rust :aaah: :o :o :D

i was a very happy bunny i then looked under the bonnet, at the supsension and another genral interior look over i was in ford nirvana again

needless to say was worth every penny 885 pound with 12months mot and tax and with 73k on the clocks i was outta there quicker than micheal jackson after his fun

i first stopped at morrison for tabk of fuel then off to halfords ripped out the ford rds 2000 unit and fitted my baby sony gt50ui

then drove the 30 miles back to leeds doing no less than a ton ish :P

it was a lil twitch which i know is ususally wishbone going bad and gera mounts dont help

so i got home to leeds and was a very happy bunny striaght to halfords

got some extreme brilliance bulbs, high intenesity brake bulbs, new blades from bosh and then got all the bit for a good oll service including diesel fuel system flush by mistake so filter, eon champion plugs got outside fitted the 3Bs

then off to my flat for more fettling

i serviced it in 1 hour and then went for another spin :P fiesta zetec smoothness like a jonson comercial

then the next day i spent even more got integrator 4 and 5 from work made by fli so good quality, new matts, new ariel, new indicators, ordered my k&n and then had a genral gander around work

then with the rest of the morning off i went to Mr benfeild ford to see my parts friend he was shutting so left my parts list and when home to bed

that night i went to bolton to get my wheels another ebay toy fox racing 5 spokes of a KA lol £75 pound :P

the next day i returned to ford got my gearbox mounts froma diesel fiesta with nylon nuts, ISCV gasket, new mirror glass, door switch and that was £48 nice :P

then off to my little parts shack off burley road got 2 wishbones, fan belt and pinch bolts after 45 mins talking to the owner he made me laugh was phill combined with alan if ur from lango ull know

then back to work and got throttle body cleaner spray, m10 bolts nut, washers, hammerite white, some connectors then did my shift

that night i ordered some yokohama spec 2 tyres , cossy escort 4x4 caliper and omp dics and pads £311 pound all in

then next day fitted all my speakers, the k&n and did a lil fettling after work went to see my new freind steve in lancaster he has 3 ford (loving it) especially the focus rs and zvh rs fiesta

got boot popper, door mirror, shelf and front indicator for £20 then drove bakc the back way on the a666 ahhh the devil road

the next few days i fitted the gear mounts, fan belt, refurbed the wheels in white, got the styres fitted did the mirror, lights ect and gave the car some loving no up the zorst i saw that programme was wrong

then cut to today did my wishbones, painted my drums, fitted the wheels and gave the car a gold petrol station wash lol

after that removed the badges and went for a long soak im gonna upload the pics all at once as im too tired to do anythign more enjoy

You can have one, or a combination that fit this size. Maximum size in KB is 20kb

well finally whist on till at 4pm today at work the OMP Box arrived i nearly knocked over the parcel force corrier getting the box out of his hands then ran past a que of customers and straight to the staff room and opened the box with glee before runnign back to serve them im good at customer service :P

anywho came home knackered then come 9pm decided go time stripped the brakes off and left the lines attached to check clearance

with 5 penny spacers between the caliper carrier and hub the disc was stuck solid

i nearly cried everyhtign else cleared

so triped a 6mm thich bolt was worse

got more worried tried 9m of space worse still then my brain arrived i removed the spacers

and found that mk3.5 n reg fietsa need no spacers, no washers, no drill straight swap :D :D :D :D :o  :bonkers: :P

after doing a victory dance like final fantacy 7 i got the lines removed and clenaed the hub copper grease eveything got it all fitted hunky dorri

bleed the brakes fluid for dot 5.1 non slicone based and after fitting the wheels and clearing my tools lowered the jack to see my new brakes :P moi bien gr8

look really mean with 3 mm on the edges between carriers and wheels :P :D

anywho went for a spin an at 50 mph made the brakes catch fire :P

well white smoke didnt push after that got home after a clean at bp so im happy

referbed calipers, omp drilled and slotted discs, sport / fast road pads and new fluid very nice

ill post pics the morow anywho like to say to exstensive cossy fitting guide :P u were wrong :P hahaha my luck
