Right well my car has been sat off the road for about 5 months and it's lost the brakes somehow I can't find a leak anywhere but my servo has a huge dent in it and corrosion where it meets the master cylinder and the fluid is below the min, I will top up the fluid and bleed the system again and see if it improves but I have a feeling that its the servo and MC as the reservoir tank doesn't sit in very securely, I will get pictures up of it ASAP I am wondering will a servo and mc fit off a mk4 as there are no mk3's in scrappies near me I would go for the bigger servo etc off the Mondeo but not sure on what I need and I think you need something welding which isn't easiest for me as I can't weld or drive the car to somewhere to have it welded.... Any help guys????

You don't need to weld anything if you find the correct Mondeo Servo. Find an M-reg servo with no pipe running off for the clutch and this will fit. The rod length can be adjusted from the pedal by using washers on the pedal rod.

Your current servo and master cylinder is knackered, it won't hold the vacuum and it's got a leak into the servo unit itself.

Yup. I found mine in a scrappy on an M reg mondeo, the older ones seem to have more chance of what we need.

No idea about that. Best route is the mondeo because of the amount of people that have done it. When you remove one, don't forget the unions into the master cylinder as the sizes of these are different to the ones in a fiesta. A brake pape flaring tool would be needed for this.

ok mate nice one yeah il get new brake pipes made more than likely with the ends on as i dont have a pipe flaring tool or the ability to bend the pipes properly if need be

There is a tiny bit of resistance in the pedal but feels more like air and it goes down to the floor it does stop the car (although iv only tried this rolling it across the driveway) and it's not great at that neither right ok it does sort of make sense as it's a m reg 3.5 so is likely to have a few boys swapped over iirc so will the Mondeo servo still be ok? And will the pipes need changing? Also I have a tap and die set can I not re tap the tread on the end of the pipe to fit the servo??

That was minimal effort if I push it with a little force the bottle almost lifts out of the m/c andyou see small bubbles come thru the fluid, it's defo had it lol

Ok so I want the servo mc and bottle and a bit of pipe with the connections on, and the cap if possible but I think my 1 fits Anything else?

You'll want to get the pin out of the rod arm behind the servo, this can crack and become useless so having one spare just in case is a good idea. Get the four bolts that hold the servo to the bracket. I think I used an 8mm drill bit to create a new hole (needs to be done because the bolts on the Mondeo servo have a slightly different pattern).
