1.6 exhaust cam in a 2.0 zetec
heard today from a fellow enthusiast that its not only possible but a very good cheap mod for extra power
he said a mate run a 1.6 zetec exhaust cam in is 2.0 and that along with a decent exhaust/air filter the engine was producing a proven 150bhp
he mentioned his mate visually could see that the 1.6 item had a higher lift on the lobe
can anyone confirm or heard similar?
id also assume this is possible on the 1.8, i have a 1.6 to hand and may try it, he said turn the engine over a few revs to see if anything conflicts first, by just the starter not running it ofcourse

hmmm never heard anything like this before, heard people using the 1.8l head on the 2.0l for better compression but thats all. i always thought the 1.6 lump was alot smaller compared to the 2.0l so i wouldnt have thought the cams would have been the same size?
I may be wrong.
i had an ashly 4 branch and air filter on my 2.0l and i was getting 141bhp proven.

ive heard this is something that can be done for budget zetec turbos as it helps in that sense not heard of it hel0ping for na tho i would however be happy if there is actual proof of this but a 2.0 with fast road cams 4-2-1 and a remap only gets around 150 bhp
