It's just sick to imagine how someone could get enjoyment out of doing that.
All the recent work you've put into the car and scumbags have just ruined it. Feel for you mate
Did they do any damage to anyone else's car?

Cheers chaps. I've been pretty p!ssed off over the last few days as you might imagine. I've not heard anything on the grapevine yet and to be honest, now I've calmed down, I don't think I want to find out who it was as I would probably be quite soon after, quickly escorted to the local cop shop.
I got informed, by text message, that I was being made redundant on Thursday last week as well. Anyway having spoken to my soon to be ex-boss we've thrashed out a nice payout so the rebuild continues and I may even make it to Ford Fair after all.
The rear quarter has popped out but will skimming over when she's painted, the rest of the damaged is on replacable panels. I've got a new wing on order from a mate who works at Benfield Ford body shop and I've got my eyes on new turbo bonnet. Along with the bootlid and both doors from older blue shell, which were going to go on at some point anyway, just the respray and to reattach the arches. I'm hoping for the wing to go on next Tuesday so pictures to follow.

what a nightmare, makes me sick. Why can't scum kick each other rather than someone else's property?
Top job on the engine conversion though!

Thanks Pimp, don't want to go down the road of breaking it, it doesn't deserve it. Damage is not fixed at the moment but can be. If not all panels will be supplied.

I been spoken to a Jim, the kind lad who likes bricks as pillows. He has made me see sense. I'm not going let the little fookers make me leave it here and loose huge amounts of money. The project continues!! Later I'll upload pictures of todays efforts.

Only a minor update really. When the engine was converted, out of the two cars I didn't have one good handbrake cable so today was the time replace it! Jacked the puppy up and the hubs came off surprising easily.
Jim doesn't like drums but enjoyed himself under another car!
Now I have a nice blue handbrake cable.
One little oddity, the shoes are wearing unevenly? The trailing shoe is wearing normally and the one towards the front is virtually untouched. This is obviously not correct but has anyone else had this? Anyway, tomorrow I'm off to see Chris to pick up a bonnet then I shall have all the panels ready for the respray. Cumbria here I come....... again!
