Haha my 1.6si is still the daily driver for me. Glad i didnt have a cvh engined car otherwise it would have blown up long ago. Lol. Being a zetec it still feels fairly modern Engine wise.

Just visited for the first time in years after someone asked about the XR2.
I gave up on car shows as people just Bic™ and moan at each other. Plus it all turned to stickers and stereos which isn't my scene.
Still have the XR2. Thinking of getting it an MOT and moving it on tbh

I tend to agree - I think the Combe shows were the better options as at least there was track time, but I think the last Combe show I went to the winner of the 'car of the show' for an 'action day' was an extremely low, stickerbombed, undriveable mess of an Impreza.
I don't think they got the memo about what their show is/was all about!
The XR2 must be worth a tidy sum at this point - it was quite a tidy one if I recall and there's not many of them out there any more!

I like car shows that aren't limited to one marque, although I used to enjoy FITP at Wicksteed Park.

Was off the road for a couple of years but back in 2017 all tuned up.
