Updates - club avatars added and ads gone

Better late than never...

Avatars are now in place for club.ft members. If you had a custom avatar the club.ft one replaces it, but if you want your old one back instead let me know and I'll swap it back for you. Unfortunately the board system won't let you have both.

Members names are in bold too, like the moderators / admins.

Adverts should now not show for club members. This has taken me a while to get working, as phpBB doesn't have any method within the templating system to show and hide content depending on group membership - club.ft members are in one of three (bronze, silver, gold) user groups.

I've tried several times in the past to work out how to make this work but finally managed to nail it over this weekend. :Q

One other thing - the "join club.ft" link no longer shows if you are already a member.

Just to note - you need to be logged in to see any member specific changes (otherwise the site doesn't know who you are and whether you're a member or not).

Nice to see some additons to club.ft.

What happens if you switch to a lesser package? do you delete dyno printout attached to garage? and if you have two cars in there does one disappear?

Any news on webmail :-?

Is odd, I swear years ago when I used Invision Board you could do this no problem!

Glad I kept my Gold subscription now :lol:
