Relocating battery / dry cell

Looking to move the battery from the bay in my fiesta. Im a bit stuck on what size cable il need ? Also i was looking into dry cell batteries bit iv been told they wont hold a charge if the cars garaged up forcacfew weeks at a time like a normal battery? Has anyone done this and got any tips

when i had my battery in the boot i used 2awg cable
