I'm not even on there, but people share it all via facebook, full of crap quality phone pics with an added filter effect and suddenly theyre a genius with a camera lol

Ah, so it's your specific Facebook friends whose photos (and/or taste in photos) you consider to be crap, as opposed to everyone who uses Instagram. That makes more sense.

Personally I enjoy using it to quickly and easily share phone camera pictures online. Sometimes I use filters, sometimes I don't, depends on whether they make the picture look how I want it to look or not.

Been really getting into macro photography lately, with new lenses through the door i can get nice and close to things like bugs without startling them

also took your advice andy and bought a selection of Hoya filters, UV(0), polarization and ND8

I got myself a piece of welding glass this morning and decided to do a little bit of experimental photography, it came out quite well.

I like that, you can get some excellent photos at sunrise / sunset on beaches using long exposures through one (or more) neutral density filters and a polarising filter.

I've been touching up some post processing skills recently and I've found a new style I like which is down to a french photographer called Serge Ramelli - it's worth checking out some of his pictures.

I'm yet to try it out properly but I had a crappy picture of the TT laying around which I thought I would edit to see how it came out, I quite like it and may use this approach for a few more pictures, especially if I actually take time to get a decent picture to start with.

Went out today, mainly to kill time and see some squirrels so took some random pictures and also saw quite a nice 350Z on the way back.
