online mk3 fiesta manual. working again!

Problem or technical question?

online mk3 fiesta manual. working again!

Postby jayrs on Fri Jan 26, 2007 2:52 am

to me it seems some questions are being asked more and more that could be answered with a haynes manual, maybe you havent got one, to tight to buy one who knows, but most questions have been asked and at times people dont do a search so i thought by sticking this link up if you have a problem and cant sort it and dont have a haynes manual, maybe you can click the link and have a look and then if you still cant find what your looking for then stick a new post up.

i dont mind helping anyone if i can, but this might be of use before asking away.

fiesta mk3 inc turbos, haynes manual

EDIT : Make sure you have a popup blocker turned on (adblock plus for preference) otherwise the site will inform you you've won anything up to five iphones...

Stop being such lazy arses and go buy a proper one. Oh and its not a proper one until it got lots of oily paw marks all over it.

Thats where I got my copy originally, so the one I posted would have been missing those sections.

i have 3 for a mk3 fiesta, 1 with the car (not that it needs to be) 1 at my parents and one here at home.

if you read the first post, its about people asking about problems that can be solved with a haynes but dont bother to buy one and fill up the room with the same old questions.
i agree, people should buy one, but maybe there skint, maybe the shop has got to order it, or maybe they are not near there manual and dont wanna buy another who knows, but its alll about stopping people posting up questions that dont need to be, like, my front brakes squeal/grind, what can it be and how do i sort it.....

them questions have been asked before and dont need to be do they.... if they had a manual or looked on the online manual they would see and not need to ask the questions will they.

anyhow, if it aint made sticky it dont matter a fock to me, i come in here to help people with there problems etc, if i can that is, i know fiestas like the back of my hand, but some people dont know a wheel nut to dip stick..
and having a onlin manual could be of use to them, if anyone thinks different, let this thread die

jammy86, yeah im a nutter, but dont worry, 90% of them have come from boot sales so they have only cost me tops of £1 each, and they do make a good read, well the old ones, as they tell you about how to fix things like your steering rack, starter motor etc etc, not like now days, unbolt this unbolt that bin that fit new one.
but in general i just buy them if i havent got them, 90% of the ones ive got ive not in looked in, some might even have cash hidden in them :oooh:

Same here. Also managed to leave my Mk2 one in my Mk2 when it got scrapped.

You can zoom in on the wiring diagrams on a PDF, which is handy. Other than that I'm still using my wet copy.

I have the books, but the pdfs are great as you can print out the relevant section/s when you need them and not get your books covered in oil and crap.

There you go - only £1.49 from halfords.

Simply works as a book protector and can fold onto what page your viewing, stops grease getting on it :P

hi guys just a quick warning, when using a haynes manual dont use the torque settings for head bolts as they are incorrect always use autodata if you can as its much more accurate
