Bit concerned as to why you want the pen, because you won't have a car of your own there! :oooh:

Tiny update, got my grille mounted ST badge through today - should be there as standard IMO!

Also got some jewellers rouge powder to try and polish out the graze in my rear window.

Got them on the mondeo mate. Good little mod. And I agree they should be standard. :)

Looking good Nick. Lovely car! Looks so clean...

I always thought the front ST badge would good better on the upper grille, not the lower grille. But otherwise, looks great!

Looks good.

Your car looked stunning on the stand last week. I should I have taken my ST as well. :(

Are you still enjoying the car? and whats your mpg? Best we have had to a tank on ours is 300miles.

Gareth.

Cheers Gareth, still enjoying every minute of it - getting up some speed is effortless in the ST whereas with the MK5 driving on the motorway was a slow, loud effort.

Best MPG I had was the Combe weekend - averaged 42mpg with the air-con on, used 3/4 of a tank to get there on the Friday and back on the Saturday. Around town I'm looking at 32-33mpg though!

I'll confess guys, the Popular Plus badges aren't going on, however I have just come across the "Sporting Trophy" decals that go around the ST badge, that I think look quite smart:
Image (not my car)

As of today too, I have the Premium speaker upgrades - the original speakers are 20W cloth cone ones, however the upgrades are standard fit 25W plastic cone with seperate tweeter-
Image
which sound a hundred times clearer than the standards.

Another thing I can't understand why ford dont just have as standard on the top models. Its not like it would cost them much more

Just a couple of pics.

First of all, had my dashboard mounted phone holder installed with thanks to a friend (didn't want to start mucking about with the dashboard myself in this one!)
Image

He also sorted me out with the Mondeo premium speaker upgrade - a direct fit for the Fiesta and the speakers incorporate proper tweeters and a plastic cone rather than the double-paper cone affair:
Image

and fitted the factory Ford auxillary socket:

I took a number of pics of it, however, most were playing with the settings and I don't want to bore you with loads of photos of the same angle :P

Cheers

In actual fact the aux socket is actually not bad, having looked on the stoc and the other St club there have been no reported faults with the aux socket, you've gotta be really unlucky to get anything stuck in there.

Centre caps - simples, they fall off or are stolen. I lost one on the way back from Combe so they are safely locked in the boot where they won't fall out or be stolen.

It doesn't bother me that much. If I was to glue them on, what would I do when I need to change the wheel? Prise them off, which is exactly what thieves do to ge the centre caps in the first place, I'd rather not run the risk :)
