I have a cigar lighter to fit to my car now I have the correct loom, and I need it for my mini fridge and GTech meter. I had about a 3 second go to fit it, and it didn't seem to want to fit in the hole in the dash  I also want it to illuminate blue to match all my other dash components. I think you should make me up a nice blue one that will fit in the hole :D

i tell you sommet its hard to fit it,even harder to get out!!

you need to put the green plastic in first then push the metal inside it, as it locks inplace.

it wont fit in as a complete unit, look in the illumination guide for a pic of it dismantleted.

hehe i might start a venture for making them blue.

you know wht tha is?

I do :D

if you mean by saggy, it looses it click when pressed it is because you have bent the bit of wire on the side that causes the click.

easy job, bend it back making sure it goes back into its channel.

you'll see what i mean if you look at the side of the switch inside.

hope it helps

i'm doing it to show others how to do it cheap, im not selling a service, just providing one.

and also it builds the content of my site up

i think people have a sense of acheivment when they do it themselves?

yeah they do, but some people would rather buy them than make them, me, i like to make things, being a engineer by trade and a genral jack of all trades too i dabble in all sort's, done it for my self to start with, showed a mate he wanted some then his mate so it went from there, done a fair few,
some people would rather pay for a switch thats alread done then buy all the stuff and possably bugger there switch so they have to get a new one atmore expense than buying a different coloured one.

anyhow mate i think you guides are good, as you say gives people the chance to do bits for them self, i dont really do the switches anymore cos i cant be assed

kerp up the good work on the site mate, i will be putting the link on a site my mate has set up later today

http://www.fastfiesta.com if anyones interested, only been going a couple of weeks or so.
