yes would be good jon, but to be honest it does'nt feel as quick as it was before unless the power is right at the top of the rev range

Re: my fiesta rs turbo(fast ford featured)
thought i'd update this thread it's been a while
since i got my custom alley rad in november it has started leaking, exactly the same place as before so it's been taken out and sent back to grs(on 30/04/10), i don't think he was best pleased with me and started aquising me of not running it without any antifreeze due to a white powder inside the end tanks after a inspection from his core suppliers they've agreed to issue a new core under warentee but graham is still convinced that the antifreeze i've used is the problem, so i've ordered some new stuff that he recomends and hopefully it will sort it, it's only been back in 3 weeks but seems good so far.
also had some rot sorted out on the door pillar and a genuine new front wing as well, all been cut out and done really well, the colour on the wing it slightly off so i've done back to the paint suppliers and they've matched it for me going back to the painters on monday just to put the right colour on, should be a quick job
got some window wind deflectors on there now which i've painted myself and colour coded white i know there not everyones thing but have really grown on me and think they look very kool, and also some stainless rear windown bolts
i've bought a set of cozzie green injectors for it so i can run a bit more boost if i want too, just need to find a company essex bound to clean and flow test them before they go in but i'm struggling to find anywhere at the moment, if anyone knows anywhere i'd be gratefull for a recomendation
few new pics taken today

Re: my fiesta rs turbo(fast ford featured)
have'nt updated this for a while, so here goes, over the winter ive had quite a large amount of welding done to make it structually solid ones again, mainly the passenger side front chasis rail was completly rotten mainly due to some bad welding done many years ago, and the inner, outer, sil in the passenger footwell, carpets all been out and floor repainted, ill let the pics do the talking now
piece i got cut out of a car at a scrappy in the snow, this was fun
let the cutting begin
seatmount
floor painted before the carpet goes back in
passenger footwell
seam sealed and painted the passenger footwell where the welding was done
[/quote]
fezz ecu uprated to a ex wrc p8 ecu with als board, green injectors a new live mapp

bloody hell mate, that was some rust on that frong leg
nice repair work to it i have to say, although i have to ask, why not cut the complete leg out and replace it in 1 bit?
im sure a jig could of been knocked up to make sure it all went back as it should of

the leg was ok jay, and if you look at the pannel i got the holes in the middle looked a slightly different shape and i did'nt want to take the risk of it not being the same shape as the other side, but very happy with the results my welder done a amazing job

Re: my fiesta rs turbo(fast ford featured)
long update so bear with me
i've made a decision to get another frst bonnet as a few people have said that the bb bonnet extension is a bit old now and go for a more standerd look, all still smoothed still just without the extension and so i started looking for a bonnet and these are really hard to come by now, but finally found one and done a deal last weekend which i had to have couried from cardiff, it arrived yesterday and for me only to find out it had been really badly damaged by the courier in transit it's bend one side both skins and is a complete right off, i'm really drunk off about this at the moment just because there so rare and [ERRR] some bloody idiot can't take care of it and the courier company are not refunding me any money they say it's a risk i have to take, i'm really very upsett about this
this was the email they sent me -
"Paul Im very sorry to hear about this but on our website it does clearly state on the booking form and on our restricted items list that due to the nature of the item we cannot give any goods in transit insurance on this product therefore you move it at your own risk therefore on this occasion we are unable to proceed with any insurance claim
very sorry
scott"
new bonnet sourced, a friend is collect it from blackpool for me, from what i can tell looks clean and striaght which is all i ever wanted, it's sprayed in purple at the moment but as soon as i get it i'll completly strip it and smooth it and give it a go and see how it looks
picked up the bonnet from my pal last weekend, spent most of the week stripping the underside came out very well i think
test fit on the car, just to make sure it sits striaght and true, but all seems good
bonnet moreless ready for primer, badge hole has been welded up, swaige line has been fibreglassed and filled smooth and damage in the top corner has been re filled, still not 100% happy with the top corner but i think i need some primer on it so i can see where it needs improving
re flocked a few interoir bits that were looking a bit tired
etch primed the bonnet both sides
few more pics picked the rad back up from the alley welders yesterday after having some new mounting tabs welded on and got it all back together, managed to fit another small fan on the rad too
got the antilag system all finished and working now heres a short vid of the als http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXBPFr9cXYM

Re: my fiesta rs turbo(fast ford featured)
shame about the first bonnet paul, buyt there right, they dont cover body panels at all.
would be interested to see a pic of all the damage on it though, i had a mk2 bonnet shipped down via parcels to go, and it wasnt very well packed (std box packing which left 75% of the under side exposed......) and it only had one conner bit on the front slightly dented in a bit, which is fixable, but i think they took a bit more care of it as they clearly could see what it was, where as others just dont give a damn
replacement bonnet stripoped well, you sure your not going to need to skim the whole front of that bonnet though? when that filler sinks a bit you might see the line through the paint, fingers crossed ya dont though

hi jay, thanx for the comments, the old bonnet was completly unrepairable, it was bent one corner where the hinge bolts to bending both inner and outer skins 90 degrees from what it should have been, was a complete mess.
as for the new one the front has been completly skimmed a few times, it's like you said the filler and etch primer has seemed to have sunk and bits that i thought were spot on have needed redoing after it was all properly dry, it will get there eventually and i would like to get it on for fordfair but its something i need to be completly happy with all the prep work before the diamond white is applied or ill never be happy with it lol

done a few more bits today, top side painted in high build primer, trying to get it on for fordfair but i think im gone to run out of time but we'll wait and see
also wired up a double pole switch for the antilag which basicly stops the valve pulsing on startup, which suits my needs a lot better and does'nt annoy everyone first thing in the mornings

, if your not happy your not happy mate.
i know what its like to spend a lot of time getting it 100% when the 99% it was is plenty good enough anyway, but i wasnt happy, and were talking a slight dip which could be filled with paint and even then it would need flatting back,to near on see through
maybe thats a bit of OCD on my part though
