Main Site Updates and new features

Postby Brammer on Mon Jun 18, 2007 2:09 am

Whats going on with the site now, is their anyone still able to update this?

-I think the show section should be updated each time a show passes
-Members who get features in the Mags get a feature on the main page
-More up to date mods like the ST170 RS1800 conversion section
-MOD of the month (HEEMAN  )
-Gold Member status £5-£10 PER YEAR for sales section
-General information
-Rolling road figures database?????
-reviews on other fiesta models as the new ST series seem to be getting some decent power figures etc...

These kind of things as i'm not the only one who thinks the site is getting quiet :( it could boost it back up.

I know people will say it costs extra and someone needs to find time etc.... i know but thats Just my 2p

:D

Amen sounds like some top ideas, I don't think its cost thats the problem - more to do with Ade not having time. I'd say its about time you let the members help out with running the site, there are many skilled people on the forums who also have a keen eye for deisign - Excursion & Project to name a few. You only need look as far as the photoshop forums to find a helpful tallented lot. I spend hours a day on the forums and don't go on the main site from one month to the next :(

Some good ideas there, and I'm sure a lot of members would help out wherever they can, myself included.

Dont see him on the fourms much at all, he hasn't posted anything since May. Maybe worth seeing if Capri can speak to him.

Here here. You be well up for a subscribed membership scheme if it improves the site. Things are going to rack and ruin lately.
Those that can, do; and those that can't, talk about it.

I'm afraid discussions of these sentiments have been ongoing since no later than March guys and girls, we're not making any progress yet though.
