Unfortunately not in Italy :( but I think that I will put them on the car in respect of the rules. I like those wheels :D

Re: Italian Ford Fiesta Van-Winter wash and restore

Postby fede fiesta van on Sun Feb 26, 2012 12:36 pm

The weather in this days is very sunny :) , so I decided to wash my car to check if there was any rust. The car (as you have seen from the photos before  ) was very dirty. When I washed it, I found some rust in the under-bumpers side, so I cleaned the rust and I have re-painted them in matt black. I have also painted my wheels in black, but maybe I will refit my wheel trims. :)

looks very nice and clean :D blends in in the backdrop too

very restrictive about the wheels, cant see why its so "dangerous", people here do wheel changes as they please, even idiots make it fairly safe :P

The alloy wheels in the picture at page 1 are 7J ET 37, with 205/55/15 tires. With this tires they rub a little bit in the coilover (only the tire). Do you think that they will rub in the arches or in the coilovers with 195/50 or 45/15 tires too? :-?

Re: Italian Ford Fiesta Van - Engine bay detailing

Postby fede fiesta van on Fri Apr 20, 2012 3:02 pm

The spring is arrived, so I decided to wash clean my engine bay and do some detailing.
I removed the bonnet insulator and I washed it with an high pressure washer. Then I cleaned the surface under the bonnet and I also pained my front wiper arms. In the pictures it's missing my air filter box because I took it off for cleaning :)
The pictures aren't very good because I was in my garage while it was raining and I finish drying the car in the garage. :aviator:

Today there was some fog in Italy and I decided to took some photos. I like the effect that the fog and the sun do together. The car was a little bit dirty

Update!
I write not very frequently on this forum but I follow every post :)
My Fiesta now is in daily use like third car. She is ok, apart from a wheel trim that decided to go away :( I think that I will paint the steelies, silver or black? I like glossy black

This model is very rare in Italy, never seen it on a car. This is also difficult to find in shops or in scrapyard...

At the moment I have two of these

And two of these:

Maybe I can put them two on the left side and two on the right side
