Re: Ipod Classic 160gb
Ive got the previous generation iPod classic 30Gb & 80Gb plus an 8Gb Nano. The 80Gb has been in use almost daily for the last three years and had no problems whatsoever with it, even survived Vix dropping it from 3 feet onto a stone floor! The nano I use for skiing as its smaller and less likely to get busted when I crash as its solid state. What reports have you read, I've had no problems with any of mine?

Can you hear me now? Hear you, I can see you, ya dick

Meh, my Nano does that from time to time, normally if I don't eject it before disconnecting it. My old Rio Karma used to do it as well. Reboot usually sorts it (hold menu and middle).
The Nano died completely on me once, ended up reformating it on the PC and reloading the software through iTunes. Simples.
(and yes, I know I'm a month late in replying, lol).

I know, you told me that before I'd even seen this thread.
Just wanted to let you know the "crashing" isn't really anything to worry about if it happens. Plus it helps other people who might find this in the future.

My 6th gen Nano also does this occasionally, normally when waking it from sleep. Some things never change I guess
Nothing to see here...
