You can upload your stuff via the web site, or you can use an ftp program such as ace or cute, Im not sure but I think dreamweaver has an ftp program built in? just look at geocities or angelfire FAQ section all will be explained!

Sorry Murph, had to remove your sig image. (!)

Regarding webspace, try http://www.plus.net

They give you free space at http://www.yourname.plus.net and there are a lot of tutorials and helpfull info on the site.

Yep, that's how you link. Create a page called say 'cars.htm' and on your mainpage set the link to 'cars.htm'. That way it will link to the page regardless of whether it is on your PC or the internet.

Murph - does your ISP give you space - i.e. my ISP - Freeserve- give me 15megs space thats what i do with mine, i upload to my own account, and it shouldnt get deleted as you are constantly dialing up, you dont get annoying pop-up windows (sorry mixon, but everytime you click a link on your site you get that fcuking popup window! )

so see if your ISP does mate

then get hold of CUTE FTP - find out your ISP's HOST ADDRESS
and your away

Sorry Ade, but there's *no way* I'll ever recommend plusnet to anyone, not even my worst enemy (well, OK , maybe him, but he does deserve it).

I'll admit their FAQ's are very good, but all the decent competent folks that really made that place work have left and all that remains is a bunch of incompetent buffoons whose idea of customer service and client satisfaction is to say "well, fcuk you! we don't care, we have your money."

I'm not gonna mention any names but I have had nothing but bad experiences since they got taken over about 3 years ago. The attitude of their customer services and managerial staff sucks and if it wasn't for the time/cost aspect of sueing them my employers would have done so long ago.

Furthermore, they owe me personally the best part of a hundred quid and screwed the company I work for for £1000's :aaah:

Never again, ever.
