I suspect he's nowhere near you I'm afraid, you should start your own thread in this subforum giving as much detail as possible.

Hi Guys, I'm a first time car owner.. i have a gulf specs 2008 Ford Mondeo.. Of Late I have noticed my radiator fan goes off whenever the car is on and in idle, for example at a traffic signal, and then it does not come on, when the car is in use again.. i have to switch off the car and restart to get the fan working again. the fan however works just fine if i never put the car in idle, even if i drive 200 kms continuously.. only when the car is idle i suffer from this problem, i contacted my local car electrician, who said that the fan modulator is gone, and i have to change it. I spent almost 300usd and replaced it however no change in the situation.
now he tells me i need to change the entire fan assembly almost 1000usd, i wonder what is the problem.. can anyone help me?? soon..
