Ford Fiesta mk3 engine swap

Postby BGTerminator_97 on Sun Mar 08, 2015 11:24 am

I have a fiesta mk3 (1990) with a 1.4 71hp engine.
I want to do a engine swap but I dont know which engine will be the most appropriate and how much I need to reinforce it so it works fine.
The engines I think will be good for this are 1.6 v-tec 125hp,lancia delta 2.0 136hp and maybe a golf mk2 gti engine 2.0 turbo 150hp.
I thought about a zetec as well but in the country I live in I couldn't find any.
The suspension needs reinforcing but I don't know how to do it without buying all new suspension.
If someone knows how this could be done please let me know.
