Neons . Didnt they go out fashion. :)

Maybe i should see if i can get away with the fluffy dice i got in the loft :Q :wink:

ive just coverd my new speaker wire by twisting the striped wire and then putting insulation tape on it
that a bad idea?

Nah, it should be fine. Worst case scenario is it could catch fire, but speaker ampage is so low it's negligable. I've still got my cold cathode tube wires extended using this method and nothings blown up just yet.

I used bullet/spade connectors from the cigarette lighter wires. Depending on if you use the yellow or grey wire (i can't remember) you'll either have permanent live or come on with headlights. I fitted the rocker switch that came with them too to the top tray in the centre console. You can just about see it at the bottom of this pic:
