On the continent the RS1800 was named XR2i 16v, withe the same 1.8i 16v engine as your 'RS1800'...

Yeah, the UK had that XR2 spec too. But there were a few differences to the RS18. The RS had a 2.0l throttle body, thicker front anti-roll bar and some other suspension differences.

You are correct, in some countries on the continent they didn't do the RS model but badged the 130ps engined car as an XR2i. The UK's XR2i was 105ps.

Either way they are not going in the database as they are not an RS. Maybe another one for XR's can be started.
