Fiesta Mk3 Passenger Airbag

Problem or technical question?

Fiesta Mk3 Passenger Airbag

Hi there,

I have searched far and wide for an answer to this question but have not yet been able to find any information on it. Basically I am wondering if it is possible to fit a passenger Airbag into a Fiesta MK3 which does not come with one from the factory. More specifically a mk3.5. I do not currently own one myself, the last one was wrote off many years ago after a tree fell on it! But I am looking into getting another one very soon. I see so many of the Mk3s on autoscout24 for sale that all seem to come with airbags, but in Ireland and England only the rare one seems to show up with one.

If anyone knows if it possible to buy the airbag module and fit it in, or shed any light on the problem could you let me know :D

Cheers!
