with this higher bioethanol fuel being introduced are the days of my 1.6 si being numbered? or can she still run on the stuff?

E10 is cleared for use in all petrol driven Ford models sold in Europe since 1992 excluding:
• Ford Mondeo 1.8 SCI from 2003 to 2007.
Personal imports not approved by Ford of Europe are not included in the above statement.

I can confirm that Mav, I work in the oil industry & the bioethanol used for blending actually has a slightly higher octane rating per litre than normal unleaded so although it says 95oct at the pump its usually around 1-1.5oct points higher so you should be fine & dandy :D
