getting confused by cams

after i sell the mk2 im lookign to throw the money from that into the mk3s engine, cams are high on that list of things to buy

i want ph3 cams to replace my ph1 Kent DH61/2


various companies saying different things, eg newman reckons a phase 3 cam (270 degree lift) wont run on a standard injection system.. i fail to see why

kent say for theyre KZ2002, you need new followers and theyre tappets

piper say just followers needed, £560 for the kit... or £370 repros, rest are over £600 so piper seem best

dont mess about jonny buy a newman with solid lifters and double valve springs

why newman?

its more of what i can get for my budget at this point, unless its really worth holding out?

there are supposed to be the best mate ,and solid lifters are good on a cvh
Kent and piper are more a cheaper cam
