Braking

Postby ToaseMan on Mon Jan 11, 2016 9:18 pm

Hello.
I drive a 1996 1.1 classic.
no abs, no power stearing, ect...
Very little power, But the main thing that bothers me about it is brakes.
they are adequate for 1 or 2 people in the car, but not a car full.
I have just ordered brembo discs and pads as I found a disc was warped.
but after having a natter at work, someone suggested mondeo brakes,
Moving on from that. I thought focus brakes.
I'm not on about out fancy as I don't really hammer it.
But how big a job is it to put standard focus (well, esate maybe) brake system onto it.
as it, simple swap, or do I need to fabricate/order new components
I imagine its been done before
or should my standard system be better and I've just got wear or something incorrectly set up.
Also I'm running 13" pepper pots, if this would make a difference in anyway.
cheers
