278's from a Mondeo ST24 confirmed by me (on my car). That's decentish clearance with no adjustments by angle grinder. I think i've read of 300's with said adjustments.

300mm if you use ST170 disc's and modded Mk3 Mondeo Calipars and Carriers, Modded I mean by shaveing of some metal from the Calipar and Carriers. A lot a Mk5 Fiesta Zetec-S Owners do this, personally I would use the 278mm Mk2 Mondeo ST24\Escort Cossise setup as advise above with some decent make disc's & pad's.

I've got 278mm ST24 setup on my mk5 Fiesta ZS, and 2wd 4 pot Cossie calipars with 285mm disc on my Mk3 Fiesta Si track car. The 285mm disc need a 10mm spacer between them and the Fiesta Hub to fit, with longer stud bolts.
