Postby grandman on Fri Nov 04, 2011 7:38 pm

Hi all,

Loking to put a 2.0 in my MK3, and not sure what suspension I need, I have the frst on at moment, (or what was on a FRST 40mm Lowing Spax Came of a FRST) and also the brakes are the FRST. Will I need to change these. I have the following available:

fuel rail
starter
alternator
rad
hoses
fuel tank
fuel pump sender
engine sensors
engine loom
car loom
gearbox
fuse box
Can anyone think of anything else I will need, I have no FRST mechanical parts available to me, so need to have all thats necessary for conversion...

Regards

Dave

P.S is urgent

it is quite easy with the right bits

mondeo engine needs a zetec car loom and the easy engine loom is a rs 1800
if you get a full rs1800 loom its plug and play really the silvertop drops in easy enough :) :)

You don't need a tank then, just the fuel pump from an si.

I had a bit of trouble with my rst pump not putting enough pressure out so I changed the tank and pump to a 1300 one that I had lying around and with the fuel guage on it its making the correct pressure for a zvh that I have fitted ,,hope that helps
