the plans for the escort are:

fixed damage
for the next year or so i will be keeping it looking sleeper
then it will get painted white with matt black s1 kit and probs orange wheels

Exactly what I was thinking, leave it black or just keep it in primer.

White fiesta... black body kit... orange wheels...
It was only a mk4... but still... you have obviously started a trend!!

Re: sleeper escort 2.0 zetec update 24/2/09 matte black
What are you doing about brakes? Being the poverty spec yours doesn't have the servo assisted master cylinder so may be better to sort out better stopping before going quicker?
Are you converting it to efi? If so needs either a s1 fueltank or retrofit the mk4 bits, will also need new fuel lines, external fuel filter, and the wiring will be a laugh! Have you considered running the 2.0 on carbs (not throttle bodies), would only need to make a few changes to the wiring and would bolt in a lot easier

update time
i have now fitted mondeo clocks need a bit more to get them to fit right
fitted a front splitter off a mk3 golf
fitted 10mm spacers to the rear wheels and will be adding 5mm to the front
also have now decided to go cvh as i am more used to them than the zetecs
which will be run on bike carbs
