You don't "need" a stand pass being out on track, the bright orange one I assume you have allows you to keep the car away from the displays with all the other track cars. If you get bored and want to park it up on the stand then yes you'd need a stand pass.
There's some heavy showers predicted so I'll probably have mine on the display stand at some point if it's near the track entrance.

Morrisons at the usual 7:45 slot.
I must say, the S-Drives are holding up very well in the wet when they have good tread. No reports of wheelspins or unusual oversteer but the rear tyres which are now over half-worn (ex-front pair) are quite twitchy. Should be entertaining!

Sorry Guy's, looks like I've twisted my Ankle and will not be able to meet up at Morrisons.
So if any one who wants my stand pass, well peed off

Re: RS Combe 2012 - Castle Combe Circuit (07/07)
Sorry you couldn't make it
My summary of the day:
- Relatively poor organisation of the day, no signs/directions to either sound-testing or drivers briefing and signing on took ages
- Dropped the back end twice followed by a full-on sideways incident
Later taking quite a squeaky-bum-unplanned trip across the grass out of tower
- Saw an Escos get written off, front-right completely destroyed
- Had an epic long flat out session on a dry track at the end of the day
Thanks to everyone who came, was a good time!

Re: RS Combe 2012 - Castle Combe Circuit (07/07)
hats off wayne you did a fantastic job (again!) at planning running and setting this show up for our stand
turn out was a bit disappointing, felt most stayed home due to the bad weather, yet again some slidey exciting track action
fair play to dalsy and the other Scottish crew for making the trip down despite the rain, the car performed very well, especially enjoyed watching lukes trolley batter the hell out of combe!!!
bring on a hopefully warmer and drier summer action day now!!!

Glad you liked it mate was getting some grip in that session.
What a weekend!
I made the glorious decision to camp Friday night, it rained from 6pm to 10am then all but stopped for an hour, which thankfully saw my 2nd/last session in the damp/dry. Car was going well then. Went slightly wide on the exit of the chicane and hit a wet patch with sent me into the grass
After that I called it a day as the rain returned and I wasn't up for it.
Fair play to the others who attended it was a fun but wet weekend.

loving the video mate, hard to work out where you are at times as the brightness is off, maybe you should mount the cam closer to window
