ford dont do them no more, so you have to go pattern part, or contact newmans, as they will grind you a cam to std spec, thats what im doing

whats the price like off newmans for a std cam ?

price i got for came and foillowers was £267 plus the VAT, and that inc the postage.

your have to buy a tappet clamping tool on top which is £18, and i guess thats plug the vat too

if its just the cam you want then its dunn be about £135 plus the vat, but its best checking with them on the price but tis gunna be in that area

if u want a cheap decent cam u can get one for about £90 on ebay the kit

seen them before, im a little shocked that your going for a cheap after market one, and a std spec one too.

you know, if anythings been worn down there will be metal in the engine and it should be flushed out
