how to tell what ecu i have?
can some one tell how to find out if my car is ofab or ofac ?
it has been chipped before i had it but chip has been removed and i cant see any stickers or writing on the ecu as it sits in the car
any other way of telling what it is
ineed to buy a chip so need to know
any help would be good

The ecu code is usually where the multiplug is. If you take the grommet off from the engine bay you should be able to see it.

If the ecu is still in the car, the code can only be seen from the engine bay. Theres the rubber grommet which seals the ecu on the top right hand corner of the bay with 2 nuts. If you undo those and pull off the grommet you should be able to see the code.

the map sensors are different between the two different ecu models also
