It tends to be they contact you or you contact them. If you get noticed on a forum or a show prehaps they may ask you if your interesting in having a feature. As for getting paid, I doubt it, but would'nt say 100% thats correct.
Maybe if you got a mate with a similar spec ford you could have a rival sorta thing.

Re: how to get into a magazine
Clark, as said in the PM I've just sent you, really very sorry that you didn't get a reply, it's completely unacceptable and I can't explain why it happened. It wasn't meant as any slight on you or the car; more likely it's simply that I read it late at night, planned to reply the following day and it totally slipped my mind. That's not to say it's excusable; it isn't and once again I offer my apologies.
Luke, drop me a PM with the spec of your car, your plans for it and a few pictures and I'll see if there's anything we can do with it! I'm afraid I can confirm there's no payment involved though!
Dave, I gave you many roubles but you still did not tarmac my driveway. When are you coming back?
Shaun, I'm still waiting...

My name is Alex. I used to have a Capri. I don't anymore. But I'm still called Capri.

Re: how to get into a magazine
1. Remove the cellophane shrinkwrapping, if present. If it is present, make sure that you keep an eye out for any gifts that have been held in by the cellophane becoming loose upon removal.
2. Orient correctly. A simple test for correct orientation is to attempt to read some text. If text appears illegible, rotate until legible.
3. With the legible-text orientation, flip so that text remains legible and staples are on the left side.
4. With one finger, peel the first leaf away from the rest and pull over towards the left side. More text and pictures should become visible on the obverse of the original face and on the newly-revealed face.
Congratulations! You are now in your magazine.
