nothing, make a note of the milage of the car the engine came out of, make a note of yours, and your be able to work out when ever you want how many miles the engine has done.
wouldnt bother trying to clock it back, just not worth it

you can if you want, if say the engines coming from a 2i take the clocks, too, , up to you really mate

cheers mate do i just need the engine at £120 for the other bits hes listed

i think iv found a engine its only 20miles from me comes complete but no gearbox , its still in the car so he taking me for test drive then if i want it he taking it out £100 for it.

that way i get to keep my parts and i will buy that other engine from rs220bhp as a spare

any tips to look/listen out when i go see the engine tomorow

just the noise of it mate if your only after the engine, it will tap because its a cvh just make sure it doesnt knock if you know what i mean!?

got the engine in and all wired up went to turn it over and the starter moter just make clicky nosies so its eaither duff or my battery is dead so chargeing battery try it again tomorow

so the engine is in and all wired up tryed a diffrent battery and booooom it starts soooo happpy now to just tidy up everythink make sure its all tight and that i havnt missed anythink

just a little up date engine is in and all working i drove it round the block , got thurer then 5miles soo alll good haha

also if you havent got one you wanna get one of the plastic trays the ht leads clip into you should find one before you melt one and then you wont be happy

its missing loads i have one . going speend another day on it ill get better pics

air intake pipe from air box to throttle body
ht lead holder

and for some strange reason its currently got a vauxhall corsa expansion bottle cap on it ???

i got loads of brand new ford caps in stock atm
do you want one gary £6 posted ?

Right as some already no im going build a rst engine and im useing bits from my xr2i engine some some pics of the head to see if it looks ok











Added my inlet and coil pack what do i need to change on the inlet to fit it to the rst

on the inlet pics you see the white plug on the charge temp sensor, that is diffrent ( sensor and plug)

Thanks what do i change it with? do i cut the wires to fit a new one?? theres a sensor at the back too is this ok?

yeah the water temp sensor at the back should be ok, i cut and joint another on, you need a fiesta turbo one along with the alloy reducer, ill look see if i have a pic if not im sure jay has one with both on as a comparrison

edit, its only just visable and the only one i have! may have a compleate engine shot i could zoom on somewhere??

YaY lol picking up loads stuff tomorow doing a 100mile trip there and 100mile trip back

also thinking i may get a fiesta shell and put the rst, in that dont think i can bare takeing this engine out the xr2i thats my pride all by my self so if you no anyone with a decent rolling shell get them to pm me or somethink

lol, stick with the shell you got mate, no point getting another if you have a good shell there, after all engines naffed anyway

the engine in there is a good one now lol i tock the naffed one out and fitted the new one so thats alot of hard work to come back out lol

smoke it for now and collect all the new bits for a turbo conversion then only takes a day to swap it over 2 at the most!!
