XR2i 16v Vs RS1800 Pistons and Rods

Quick question, I would assume that they are exactly but i wanted to just double check.

Are 16v XR2i Piston and Rods identical to RS1800 Pistons and rods???

I believe the only differece between 1.8 engines are the cams and inlet etc.
