ASAP Anyone with a tape measure/RST fiesta and five minutes?

Postby Xr2i-Fiesta on Sun Nov 22, 2009 6:03 pm

Could someone please measure up their bonnet and tell me where the bonnet vents are located! :)

Thanks
====================================
Its because i'm fitting RST fiesta vents to my MK3 bonnet but havnt got a clue where to put them, :(

ASAP would be great, as i've got the hole thing set up to start,
drill, e/saw, googles, paper & sisors (to make a template), sharpe knife to stratch out in the paint work the exact position :P
It's all set up for me, so ASAP please please please!

Want to atleast get them in tonight, then this week use fibre glass filler and then prime ready for paintin :D :D :D

i dont have one but... i do think the vents are mounted under the surface of the bonnet top so unless you have aftermarket stick on ones they will be far too high i think???

Don't need a tape measure. Look on the underside of the bonnet and they fit where the strengthening bar things curve. If you have a vent handy, measure it up by hand and you'll see what I mean :)

Also to ditto the above comment, the vents attatch to little tabs on the underside of the bonnet about 5mm lower so they look and feel as part of the bonnet and not an addition. If you're fibreglassing them then make sure to push the vents through a bit so they're a similar height. They look poo raised up, I can say that from experience :lol:
