Help required with a Clifford Alarm

Postby Project_XR2i_Trackcar on Sun Feb 01, 2009 11:46 am

I have a Clifford Concept 50 fitted to my RS2000 and to be honest, its being a right PITA.

At the moment the car wont start unless its on jump leads. Without jump leads, all that is working is the alarm itself and the remote central locking.

Without the jump leads the dash lights are illuminated but do not dim when attempting to turn over, the electric windows wont open either.

Now i'm hoping that simply a new battery is needed. It seems wierd that it will start with jump leads but not at all without. I'm assuming the imobilsier isnt causing it as surely it woulnt start with the jump leads on.

Confused :-?

Any Clifford veterans out there care to help?

check the wires to battery mate as seems like it could be car related rather than alarm :) as alarm is working

Battery is fine. We've done a drop test and its holding the charge. Its pretty new too.

No longer able to start with jump leads now.
