OFAC help needed please
I've got an XR2 with a FRST engine fitted, i rebuilt the engine back in Febuary and has just cover 900miles running in, The car is fitted with a T3 so i've just got set of 701's and an MSD evolution chip, I wasn't sure if i needed to change the MAP sensor. I fitted them today and the car runs and idles fine but when i took it for a test drive and if the boost guage goes above 0-2PSI-ish it starts to back fire and hold back. Can anyone confirm if i need a different MAP sensor please. If i do, what do i need, If no is there anything else i need to change.
Cheers
Ginger
P.S i have a standard MAP sensor at the moment

Re: OFAC help needed please
map sensor is not the problem imo , sound more like electrical breakdown ie plugs or leads as 2 psi is nothing

could be a map sensor fault if the pipe has come off.
