How to tell which superchip I have?

well basicly looking to sell my superchip.

but unsure which one i have. i bought it as an ofab 195. but dont want to sell it as wrong thing.

all it says on it.

002596
v5
v2'

v5 is ticket.

someone has hand written something 'Hal Lane'? last word defo says 'lane'

iv phoned up superchips and they say it should say either ofab/ofac and p1,p2,p3?

someone said 165 and 195 are different colour?

any help appreciated. as dont want to sell wrong thing! even if iv bought as wrong thing.

Looks the same as mine mate and mine is a 195. Whoever told you that they are different colour is sadly mistaken some are black and some are blue. Superchips should be able to tell you though am suprised they couldn't.

yeh i was hoping they could tell me via serial number.

Send it off to chips themselves fella. Give them as much info as you can on it..,

I spoke to a chap named Dave Tinsley iirc, really helpfull, he gave me a whats what on what they can do, said they could even supply a reciept of condition/id for it and or wether it could/would need to be "re-flashed" too.Just gotta send mine off as im getting forgetfull :rolleyes:

It could say Well Lane, as there is Well Lane Turbo centre in Batley, West Yorks. They may be able to shed some light on it if they fitted it???

would i be able to plug this into my ecu.

got a custom msd chip if i took it out and put this in.

as im running beiges.

and if it runs okay then its 195 chip?

wont damage my msd chip or ecu or anything?

Why dont you just tell MSD what you latest setup is and they will code the chip to suit your mods.?

mines a 1.9 cvh.

power engineering told me i needed a chip from msd which they ordered and fitted.

just want to sell spare superchip as a waste of money just sat there!
