The answers to your questions are as follows:

1. The final purchase will be for the kit only.
2. We can fit the kit to the original racks for £75.00 per rack + standard parts (if required) + VAT.
3. Unfortunately we do not cater for power steering racks.
4. The lock to lock would be approximately 2.75 depending on what is possible on the sample.
5. Replacement parts will be available and the kit guaranteed for faulty workmanship and material.
6. A provisional price, from experience but before seeing the sample, would be in the region of £125.00 each + VAT + Delivery + Tooling (if applicable)
7. The kit can be fitted to the donor rack for £75.00 + standard parts (if required) + VAT.

So, in summary:

£125+VAT+delivery(TBC) for a kit only.
If you want it fitted at Quaife then add £75 + VAT
Lock to lock will be 2.75 (TBC)
Replacement parts will be available and it'll come with a guarantee.

What i need now is your opinions and confirmation of 10 definites before we can crack on.

Once i get 10, I'll need a rack to be sent to Quiafe - Either Shaun or White2i. Shaun, upto you but it doesnt look like they're offering any bonus for supplying the initial rack so i would suggest you keep hold of your FRST one.

We only need one though please discuss and make a decision on here .

will be wrapping and sending the steering racking tomorrow. so they can be getting on with the kit.

if the lock to lock is gunna be 2.75, thats a full turn less than FRST so i would deffo be interested.

i have a few standard steering racks, but at this moment in time no money to send it due to a massive £624 vet bill

i ask this for this reason, if they base there quick rack on the full travel of a standard rack, the "full lock" could be be more than what it is on a FRST meaning wheels scrubbing on the inner wing.

i almost didnt ask this due to the fact people can fit there own limitors (if they get some)

Dear Chris,

The full lock will not be anymore than the stock steering rack.

The limiting factor to the speed of the rack is the dimensions of the casing.

gunna check a couple bits over the weekend on a few racks i got as im 95% sure the rs rack doesnt travel out as far as the "stock" rack there on about
