2.0 zetec mk1 fiesta
Just thought Id share the story of my car since we recently did a fair amount of work on it
Il let the pics do the talking as it would take me an age to write everything down
from the start.....
This is how the car looked up until a couple of months ago....
And a vid of the 0-60 at FF
Then it came off the road and the work began!
Cutting and welding.....
Engine Test fitted......
Mount welded into place.....
Modified cradle and gearbox bearer to clear exhaust and driveshaft....
End of sump cut off to clear bearer....
Engine In....
Home made downpipe until I can afford a propper system
the carpark
And this is the car as it stands now
The spec of the new engine should bring it over the 200bhp mark and it really does go well
Hope you all like

Re: 2.0 zetec mk1 fiesta
Cant believe I never updated this
got it all finished and then took it apart again, the old engine made 192bhp and the car ran a fastest 1/4 up the pod of 13.27 @ 106mph
also went through so many different sets of wheels, its currently on a set of image wheels I had made for it
the pics:

as it stands waiting for a new engine lol

Re: 2.0 zetec mk1 fiesta
2.0 obviously
J.E. high comp. pistons (runs 11.6:1 CR)
Eagle rods
ARP bolts everywhere
Multi layer head gasket
Knife edged crank
Clevite77 heavy duty big end bearings
Ported head
Weber 45s
Kent 2002 cams
Vernier pulleys
Ported Dunnell manifold
Dunnell 3D management
Baffled sump
CVH Efi flywheel with a bit skimmed off
Alloy underdrive crank pulley
That was the old engine spec, was being restricted by that crap exhaust manifold though lol.
made that power on propper dyno dinamics rollers aswell ST170 engine shouldnt be to hard, bit of headwork and cams maybe, some bike carbs or TBs should see that sort of power with a decent exhaust, although i think the standard st170 manifold is pretty free flowing
170bhp from the word go anyway arent they
