2.0 conversion insurers to try/avoid
Anyone recommend any insurers who are 2.0 zetec conversion friendly? Preferably not a broker as i need to insure my Escort van with them first (not business use, just SDP+C)

Anyway, try confused.com.
Also try doing third party - fire and theft (for some reason it's cheaper than just third party) :S.
Then either don't tell them about the mod, or phone up the top 10 cheapest and see how much it'l bump it up.

yes because confused.com is the best way to geta cheap cover with your 2.0 conversion...

I think quin-direct are reasonable *i mentioned putting a 1.6 in a fezzy once* and i'm pretty sure they were reasonable, but then it's not big power.
Or try CIS, they're a fully comp only company!, quite easy going tbh and very helpful!, it might be worth a try!

im with quinn direct now, theyre quite good with the mods i have atm, but there alot more jumpy with big engine conversions, theyw anted a logbook fromt he orignial vehicle the engine was from
